Content and form take center stage in the creation of a corporate film.
A corporate film needs to be captivating and hold the viewer’s interest. In addition to using ‘regular’ professional 4K and Full-HD cameras, we also have Cine cameras that allow us to achieve a more ‘cinematic’ look in our productions. These cameras are specifically designed for use with 35mm film/cinematic lenses, enabling us to create the authentic look and quality of a feature film.
Would you like to have a corporate film made in this manner? Feel free to contact us if you’d like to see the differences firsthand. Alternatively, you can explore our online portfolio to see some of our recent work.
First and foremost, we would like to discuss your preferences and requirements for the corporate film in a personal conversation. During this discussion, we aim to gather as much relevant information as possible to accurately portray your product or service. Additionally, we will suggest additional ideas, techniques, and possibilities that you may not have considered.
Based on this information, we will create a proposal that outlines our vision for your corporate film. If you find this proposal appealing and give it your approval, we will proceed with developing a script and storyboard.
In this second phase, the script and, if applicable, the storyboard for the corporate film will be developed. Film locations will be examined or scouted, and an initial shooting schedule will be created. Following that, the location planning will be finalized, and the shooting schedules, along with any potential voice-over scripts, will be prepared.
If animations are to be included in the film, the animation designs will also be created during this phase.
Now, the filming process begins. All the necessary footage is captured, and the animations are finalized in the animation studio. For smaller productions, a half-day of shooting may be sufficient to capture all the required footage.
For larger productions, it may take weeks or even months to gather all the necessary material. External factors such as weather conditions and the time of year can play a role in this process.
Once all the footage has been captured and the potential voice-over has been recorded, the editing process begins.
Firstly, all the footage is reviewed and selected, a process known as “spotting.” Then, the usable footage is arranged in chronological order to create a cohesive narrative. The voice-over is added, and music may be incorporated as well. Additionally, effects, color corrections, and other necessary elements are included.
Editing is a time-consuming process. A fast-paced editing style with rapid transitions and numerous effects takes longer than a calm, business-oriented editing style. In some cases, the film is edited to synchronize with the music, adding an extra level of excitement. This technique is often applied in music videos, short promotional films, and commercials. Color corrections are also applied during this phase to ensure consistency between shots and to enhance the visual impact, making the footage more intense or cinematic
Why?
To quickly and effectively reach your target audience, film is the perfect way to tell your story. Whether it’s conveying your company’s philosophy or providing assembly instructions, film is simply the best medium to deliver a message exactly as intended.
Having a corporate film created allows you to share the story of your business, explain your product, or take viewers on a journey into your company’s vision. Every company is unique, with its own distinct philosophy. And what better way to convey that than through film? Film not only provides information but also has the power to evoke emotions and showcase passion.
Film is an experience. That’s why it’s ideal for effectively communicating your message. It allows you to create a captivating narrative that captivates your audience and leaves a lasting impression.

Want to have a corporate film, commercial, or animation created? How does the process work?
In general, we follow a consistent approach whether it’s producing a corporate film, animation, or commercial. In all cases, the goal is to communicate something to the viewer. It could be a story, a vision, or any other message. For us, it’s crucial to understand what needs to be conveyed and to whom. The final product should be both viewed and understood by the target audience.
Scripting
Once we have a clear understanding of the content, we begin writing a script and/or voice-over text that effectively communicates the story in a concise manner. We also start considering the desired look and feel of the corporate film, both in terms of visuals and audio elements such as music, voice-over talent, and tone of voice.
Filming
Once the content text is ready, we have the client review it. Together, we refine it until we have a final version that serves as the foundation for the entire film. We develop a shot list, outlining the specific shots we need, and then proceed to schedule the necessary filming sessions. Depending on the production, this can range from a few hours of shooting to several full days.
Editing
After the initial footage is captured, we begin the editing process. We review and select the filmed footage, placing it in the appropriate sequence within the edit. The voice-over, which is often recorded by this stage, serves as the guiding thread for the editing process. We also search for or create music that enhances the overall atmosphere and emotions of the film. All the footage used is color-corrected (color grading) to ensure visual cohesion and create a cohesive and visually pleasing final result.
Sound Design & Mastering
Once the corporate film has taken shape in the editing phase, we add any necessary visual and sound effects to elevate the film to a higher level. Subsequently, the audio is mixed and mastered.
From that point forward, we work towards delivering an initial preview to the client. After one or two potential rounds of revisions, the film is ready for release.
Animations come in various forms and can be created using different software packages.
The most important aspect is that the animation aligns with the content you want to convey. It should communicate clearly, persuasively, and in an understandable manner to your target audience. Additionally, it should fit within your budget.
Animation has the ability to explain anything. Unlike film, where you’re typically limited to what can be captured by the camera, animation doesn’t have those constraints. With the right dose of creativity, it’s an ideal way to explain, clarify, or market concepts.
Types of Animation:
2D animations
3D animations
Animated special effects
Making a documentary requires a completely different approach compared to, for example, producing a corporate film or commercial.
In a documentary, everything revolves around the content, the story, and effectively documenting that content. Unlike a corporate film or commercial, the content is initially not (fully) known and will gradually take shape through stories, interviews, and research.
The goal is to produce the documentary in a cinematic and engaging manner that captivates the viewer. This, combined with suitable music and a editing rhythm that perfectly aligns with the project, ultimately creates a documentary that leaves a lasting impact.
When creating a documentary, we typically collaborate with Kamermedia, experienced journalists who delve deep into the story and go the extra mile to deliver a compelling end product by opening necessary doors and conducting thorough research.
